posted Saturday, September 12, 2015

The Springfield Community Chorus is beginning its 49th season of musical productions this fall with director Kenneth Olsson conducting! Past concerts include performances of major works by composers such as Mozart, Puccini, Mendelsohn, Vivaldi and Haydn. The chorus also performs an annual holiday concert each December which includes a variety of both traditional and modern music. Rehearsals will start Monday, September 14th at the Unitarian Church, 21 Fairground Rd. in Springfield, Vermont. Rehearsals start promptly at 7 pm each week. It is not necessary to audition to join the chorus but helpful if you have some experience with singing and reading music. If you are interested in joining the chorus or would like more information please contact Terri Fiske at [email protected]. You may also just come to the first rehearsal. We look forward to another successful season with many new faces.
