Free Septic Smart Workshop September 26 in Springfield

Does my septic tank need to be emptied every year? How can I tell if my leach field is still working? I am building a home on a challenging site and need advice on placing the septic system. Come and learn the dos and don'ts of septic system, discover the different types of systems, and how to tell if yours is working properly. This free Septic Smart workshop is open to the public and runs from 9am until 12 noon in Room B118 of the River Valley Tech Center, located at 307 South St in Springfield, VT.

The Septic Smart workshop is presented by the Mt Ascutney Local River Subcommittee of the CT River Joint Commissions and features a variety of speakers on several topics geared toward the layperson.
